Do you know what have been the latest new features we have implemented in Kizeo Forms? Here we share with you the summary of all the functionalities we have launched and the improvements we have implemented in the second quarter of 2023. At the end, as always, you have the section Did you know? where we tell you about the advantages of filling in the photo field using the camera of the Kizeo Forms app.

What's new on the website

1. Choose mandatory items within the Contact field

You can now mark subfields as mandatory within the address and contact elements. What does this mean? When you are creating your forms, you can indicate which fields within these two elements must always be filled in.

To activate it, just click on the red asterisks next to the subfield.

Until now, it was not possible to select which subfields would be mandatory and which would not. By default, they were either all mandatory or not.

2. Automatic Push

Do you need the information you fill in one form to be automatically filled in another form? Do it with the automatic Push. This new feature allows you to configure, from the web platform, forms and source data (A) and other forms and destination data (B, C, D, etc.).

Save time and achieve an even smoother flow of information, sharing data between colleagues or multiple departments within your company without friction or delays.

How does it work?

Let's look at a case study of the advantages of sending data between forms automatically.

The field technician fills out a work report (form A), including photos, hours worked, materials used and so on.

The manager reviews the information on a new form (Form B). Reviews the details of the intervention and approves and signs the report.

The administrative staff has, on the purchase requisition form (form C), the details of the materials to be replenished.

3.  You can now purchase Kizeo Forms licenses in pounds

We are delighted to inform you that you can now make payments for your Kizeo Forms subscriptions in pounds.

This means that your subsequent payments will be automatically processed in pounds instead of euros

Did you know?

Take advantage of the benefits of taking photos from the Kizeo Forms app.

By using your own camera from the Kizeo Forms app, you can:

  • Restrict the format and shooting direction of the photo: you determine for the user whether the photo should be taken horizontally or vertically. You can also define whether you want it to be a square (1:1), rectangular (4:3) or full screen (16:9) photo.
  • Make cropping simpler and quicker: the user can resize the photo the instant it is taken, before uploading it to the form.
  • Define image quality: you can determine what quality the photos should be in order to optimise storage space.
  • Add watermarks automatically: following ISO formats, you can display the date and time at the bottom or top of the image automatically.

In the case of using the mobile gallery to fill in the photo field, the device's own quality is retained. However, you will not be able to implement the advantages mentioned above.

If you want to take advantage of the functions of the photo element, you can disable the option that allows you to upload photos from the mobile phone gallery. From the form options, under the "Mobile" option, uncheck the box and only allow users to fill in the photo field if they take the image from the Kizeo Forms app.
